Meet the Founder
I'm a registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience caring for people through mental health challenges, anxiety, grief, developmental disabilities, and some of life's hardest moments.
But my understanding of overwhelm didn't just come from my career.
It came from my own life.
I've lost both of my parents and many other loved ones. I've experienced the heartbreak of grief firsthand and know what it feels like to search for comfort when there are no easy answers.
I've also been the busy mom rushing from soccer fields to baseball games, working full-time, keeping a household running, and still trying to figure out what was for dinner.
Now I'm blessed to watch my family grow as a grandmother, and I know that every stage of life brings its own joys, challenges, and moments when we all need a little extra support.
Through every season of my life, one truth has stayed with me:
People don't always need another app, another book,
or another complicated system.
Sometimes they simply need the right support
at the exact moment they need it.
That's why I created Tap2Cards.
And it's why I continue to build.
"If someone I love were struggling with this today,
what would I want them to have in their hands?"
That question guides every decision we make.
A note from Raquel
Because I've learned — both as a nurse and through my own life — that even the smallest act of encouragement can change the direction of someone's day.
Thank you for letting us be a small part of your journey.
